Not quite Augie's musical vision of this song...... but close. aeiou runs thru their reenactment of I Want You (She's So Heavy) by The Beatles from the album Abbey Road. One of Augie's favorite versions was done by The Bee Gee's in the movie Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band starring Peter Frampton. "I don't think Vout or Mark for that matter really liked doing this tune." Augie explains, "I've done this song live in three different groups and people always seem to like it. I got the idea to cover this tune from some original band I saw perform at The Whiskey when I was working for Michael Giangreco Productions. Their version was very
Beatle-esque. I'd love to do it with a larger band and totally vamp the end and get crazy."  |
